Sunday Series: wine + food + music

Before I commence this week's recommendations - credit must be paid to my amazing partner; Andreas Batten. Together, we curate these weekly lists, and I look forward to sitting down with him and brainstorming each and every single time. It has become a weekly ritual I cherish. 

Gang Starr "Moment of Truth"

Think: requires no explanation other than - one of the greatest hip hop albums ever produced. 

Wine pairing: such a beautiful piece of art requires a wine of equitable character, timelessness and ageability - Champagne Salon N/V

Jazz Liberatorz "Clin D'oeil"

Think: glowy, fuzzy, distorted, fluid - reminiscent of watching a sunset, glittering light on water.

Wine Pairing: Natural wine, of any kind, beautiful because of its imperfections and fearlessness to show its flaws.

Riddle "Art and Soul 2"

Think: Light and jazzy beats that are as uplifting as they are funky. Great to zen out to, read a book or enjoy a bubble bath lit by candlelight.

Wine Pairing:  French 75's.
